Job Purpose

As a Sr. Digital Marketing Analyst on the Honda Digital Marketing team, the associate is responsible for the production, development, and maintenance of core sections of American Honda’s digital properties, including the Honda Automobiles, Honda Corporate, and Honda Racing websites. With over 60 million visits per year, these websites are primary sources of information for consumers, and core to AHM’s digital marketing strategy.  Key responsibilities include project management, production and development of compelling digital content to support AHM’s digital marketing strategy, including driving awareness, engagement and consideration of Honda vehicles, and converting upper-funnel shoppers into qualified leads.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage key model landing pages, content/asset updates, website enhancements and maintenance activities to support vehicle launches, sales promotions and brand initiatives, ensuring that launch strategy, business requirements and KPI goals are effectively communicated to agency partners, and that the brand is portrayed in the most compelling way possible.
  • Collaborate with internal Divisions and Departments (e.g., Advertising, PR, Product Planning, Social Media, IT, CX, Sales, Service), and third-party agencies, to support key brand initiatives and stories, ensuring content accuracy and proper representation on the website.
  • Manage site maintenance items, including identifying, confirming, and reporting issues.  Work with agencies in creating tickets, providing requirements, testing and approving resolutions.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of all content updates and site enhancements to ensure successful launch with minimal defects.
  • Manage targeted email campaigns, ensuring that content resonates with target audiences and that KPI goals are met or exceeded
  • Provide analytics support to marketing and leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with other AHM departments to ensure adequate digital support is provided for product launches, sales promotions, and other business objectives.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
     

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum 2-4 years in digital marketing, website management, email marketing, brand marketing, marketing communications or similar field.  Auto experience a plus.
     

Other Job-Specific Skills:

  • Agency experience/familiarity a plus
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills, able to effectively convey strategy and business requirements, collaborate with inter-departmental teams and agencies
  • Strategic mindset with high attention to detail
  • Agency/vendor management skills
  • Understanding of UX/UI design principles
  • Understanding of website development, content management concepts a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM, digital media, Agile project framework a plus
  • Familiarity with web analytics and performance optimizations. Knowledge of Adobe Analytics helpful.
