Job Purpose

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Technical Product Lead (TPL) for Digital Key to join our growing team. As a Senior TPL, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Digital Key products, from ideation to launch and beyond. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products, and championing the user experience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that products are developed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications that align with our overall product vision.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product strategy, roadmap, and feature prioritization.
  • Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  • Manage product documentation and ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends that may impact our products.
  • Create prototype solutions to check the technical or customer value of new proposals.

Workstyle

  • Hybrid.
    • 3 days per workweek at the local Honda office.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Required Experience:

· 5 to 7 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.

Required Education:

· Engineering or Science (BS or MS)

 

Other job-specific skills:

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Understanding of mobile application optimizations such performance and memory optimizations, debugging memory leaks and caching.
  • Experience and knowledge of authentication and authorization workflows using standards like OAuth.
  • Able to think outside the box for solutions that meet the time and requirements.
  • Able to modify and program GUI based solutions.
  • Excellent planning and communication skills
  • Strong specification writing skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to work with software developers to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Understanding of agile principles and methodologies and experience implementing and adapting them to fit the team's needs.
