Job description:
- We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product to join our growing team. As a Product Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our solutions, from ideation to launch and beyond. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our users, translating those needs into product requirements, and working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key accountabilities:
- Oversee the entire Product lifecycle from project initiation to feature delivery. Requirements, specifications, solutions, design, develop, test, and deploy. Manage post-deployment phases and project closure.
- Collaborate closely with Managed Service teams (project mgmt., technical, testers, etc.) to ensure that features are delivered to Project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Work closely with Honda stakeholders including Product Owners, UX, Quality, Security & Governance, and Operations team members to prioritize, align tasks and address project risks.
- Responsible for managing overall planning, tracking, change control, and reporting aspects of the project.
- Champion the Customer experience and ensure that products are easy to use and delightful to interact with.
- Ensure clear communication between the project team and stakeholders, while offering daily guidance to the team and regular project status updates to management.
Workstyle:
- Hybrid: ~ 3 to 4 days per workweek at the local Torrance, CA office

Qualifications:
- An undergraduate (BS) of graduate (MS) level degree in engineering, applied mathematics and/or computer science.
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a Product/Project Manager or similar experience with a proven track record of success.
- Proven track record of delivering products/projects from inception through delivery to post launch.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design methodology
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills
- Expert at Jira and Atlassian Confluence
- Experience with project Budgeting
