Job Purpose
This position will support purchasing and inventory control functions of the Import Parts Department within the Parts Division, which supplies service parts to Honda & Acura automobile, motorcycle, power equipment dealers and export distributors. This position will report to the Import/Export Parts Department in Torrance, CA and provide both administrative and purchasing support to the management and associates within the department.
Key Accountabilities
Manage weekly reports and keep the monthly group measurements updated
Support the Inventory Specialists with various activities involving reporting and system update
Resolution of Domestic Trouble Reports (DTR's) for Affiliate shipment and related Debit/Credit Holds
Assist in forecasting and ordering initiatives of service parts
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- High School + Some College (1-2 Years Preferred)
- Pervious work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong ability to work with numbers
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Exhibited leadership, problem solving, and collaboration skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
