The PS&P Market Monitor Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the PS&Ps efforts to identify market issues for Powersports related products.  This position is responsible for providing guidance, training, support, and feedback to team members to ensure that quality and safety issues are identified in a timely manner in order to reduce the impact that any potential market issue may have on AHM business and customers. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategies to enhance the skills of the Powersports Market Monitor team, aligning those activities with individual development plans for team members.  Lead staff to achieve group goals and review / approve team’s daily activities.     40%
  • Conduct monthly PDCA analysis and report activity, identifying gaps for team improvement.  Collaborate with Market Monitor Unit Manager and other stakeholders to optimize team’s efficiency.     10%
  • Product Technical support, ensure all model specialist are engaged with Techline, Customer relations and field staff and are providing timely and accurate information. Ensure all publications are being reviewed in the time given. Wrench article submissions and approvals    20%
  • Responsible for SCM warranty parts inspection area and QIC shop. Both areas need to be clean, organized and stocked with supplies.    15%
  • New Model, ensure all 2W and 4W new model activities are being completed by Market Monitoring.    15%

    

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 
Minimum Educational Qualifications - BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
Minimum Experience  - 8 years technical experience in the MC/SXS/ATV/auto or PE/Marine industry with an emphasis on product quality & service operations . Honda specific knowledge of the GiQ system / QIC process and product quality resolution . Minimum 2 years
