Job purpose:

  • This position supports New Model Guest Engineering management system including standards, procedures and maintenance of training material. Ensure legal compliance and information security. Provide professional on/off boarding experience using Supplier Governance system.

Key accountabilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the current Guest Engineer program and new Guest Engineering management system to ensure optimal performance, availability and problem solving for 600+ Guest engineers.
  • Provide technical support to users, addressing and resolving system-related issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement system updates, patches and enhancements
  • Conduct regular system audits and generate reports on system performance and usage
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Stabilize new Guest Engineer management system (GEM) aligned with legal requirements and connection to HRIS system.
  • Create, implement and maintain onboarding and offboarding process for guest engineers for all supplier types.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Purchasing for process improvement measures and to ensure legal agreements are completed.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the system
  • Assist in training of users on system functionalities and best practices
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and work with development team to implement changes.

Workstyle:

  • Hybrid: At least 3 days per workweek at the local Honda corporate office.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business area or equivalent related experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in leading system themes and projects.
  • Problem solving analysis
  • Strong knowledge of system development and maintenance operations
  • Knowledge of Honda systems, SRM, GML, MyHR, ITSM, Fieldglass + others
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple Business Units, IT and outside vendors
  • Knowledge of Honda New Model development organization.
