Job Purpose
The Assistant Zone Manager Parts & Service Operations supports the Zone Parts & Service Manager in activities aimed at the improvement of Customer Satisfaction with focus on Convenience and Customer Treatment, Reduction of oil change service time, service, parts, and accessory sales business, Express Service & Accelerated Service initiatives, quality satisfaction of Honda/Acura products and the protection and maintenance of the interest of AHM and the Honda/Acura brands. The AZM is primarily responsible for guiding, supporting and setting the performance expectations of the zone's DPSM's daily activities. Achievement of other assigned areas of responsibility, tasks, or projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Achievement of assigned CS Convenience objectives
- Achievement of assigned CS Treatment objectives
- Achievement of assigned parts and accessory sales objectives
- Achievement of oil change service time of <60 minutes Honda / <70 minutes Acura
- Achievement of assigned Fixed Right First Time objectives
- Achievement of CPRO Objective – 2.5% Increase
- Achievement of Training Certification objectives
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- 4-year automotive management degree or equivalent work experience
- 6-8 years of related work experience including interacting with dealerships on a wholesale and retail level (preferably as Sr. District Parts & Service Manager.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing associates remotely
- Marketing experience as it relates to express service metro market campaigns and parts / accessory sales improvements at the dealership level
- Must have strong customer relations skills, strategic business planning skills to support major areas of responsibility, target marketing skills, knowledgeable of warranty administration, parts and service policy and procedures.
- Strong understanding of Honda/Acura Dealers' Parts & Service operations and Honda/Acura financial statement and EXAM data
- Must be proficient in the use of analysis, action planning and follow up to achieve assigned business objectives
- Excellent communication (verbal, written and presentation), analytical, planning, conceptual and organizational skills are required
- This position requires frequent travel and possible future relocation.
