Job Purpose
Work to advance Honda’s efforts to form collaborative partnerships between government, industry, and academia that support the company’s current and future workforce initiatives, focused in the areas of talent, community, and partnership
Key Accountabilities
- Talent – Develop a strategic workforce pipeline for current and future business needs within Honda, focused on National Diverse Partnerships, including Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
- Cultivate relationships with HBCU leaders and lead Honda’s “Drive The Legacy” strategy revolving around HBCU engagement
- Coordinate activations/engagements focused on talent at all age levels (job shadowing, plant tours, speaking events, conferences, capstones, large scale pipeline events, letters of support, general relationship establishment, PDCA of events, KPI reporting
- Coordinate activations/engagements focused on talent with HBCU partners, National Diverse Partners (NSBE, SHPE, SWE, etc.) and National Organizations (TMCF, UNCF, etc
- Set, track, and report KPIs for each activation/engagemen
- PDCA activation/engagemen
- Determine path-forward for all partnerships and report to Talent Acquisition
- Community – Establish strategic relations with community members to support workforce development strategie
- Coordinate activations/engagements focused on community (plant tours, speaking events, workforce-focused community content, Manufacturing Day, general relationship establishment, PDCA of events, KPI reporting)
- Set, track, and report KPIs for each activation/engagemen
- PDCA activation/engagemen
- Determine path-forward for all partnerships and report to Corporate Social Responsibility
- Partnership – Utilize government, academic, and industry relationships to ensure Honda’s interests are represented externall
- Support all external partnerships focused on workforce and the internal assigned representatives to each rol
- Participate in workforce-focused board meetings and event
- Attend all workforce-focused conference
- Set, track, and report KPIs for each partnershi
- PDCA partnership
- Determine path-forward for all partnerships and report to Government and Industry Relations
- Overarching workforce strategy participation with HDMA and AHM key leadership to set 3-5 year workforce goals/needs within MM
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equilavent experience

10-15 years experience at a Honda facility(s)
- 1-3 years participating in workforce partnetship activities
- Strong business acumen
- Project management skills for large projects
