General Summary
Asst Mgr, Field Ops, Honda Aircraft Company LLC, Greensboro, NC. Prov resolution to actions escalated by direct reports pertaining to customers, dealers, &/or aircraft issues. Mge, expand & dev co’s Authorized Service Center network. Ensure field support team has resources & abilities to respond to customer requests, discrepancies, or conflicts. Mge scheduling & activities of direct reports. Work w/Customer Service team to ensure teams work together. Promote & support co’s interests at trade shows & special events. Ensure audits & compliance of dealer contractual obligations are met. Update policies & procedures. Prov oversight & dev 6 Field Service Reps, Network Service Coordinator & Customer Support Specialist/Fleet Mgr. Domestic & intl travel approx 30% of time & may be req under short notice. Min reqs incl: Bachelor’s (or it’s prof exp equiv) in Business, Aviation Mgmt, Operations Mgmt or related & 15 yrs aviation exp in customer support & product support in an aviation environ; 10 yrs exp working under FAA/EASA regulatory reqs; 7 yrs OEM exp w/Aircraft Manufacturer; 2 yrs exp in Supplier Liaison & logistics, incl supplier agreements & establishing KPI to monitor Supplier governance; 5 yrs exp in Process Mapping & Root Cause Analysis; & 5 yrs exp in managing a customer support team.
