American Honda Finance Corporation is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Planning Assistant Manager.  This position is a dynamic, leadership-oriented position that will manage regulatory compliance, oversee regional training, and collaborate in the development of regional business planning.   The QA&P Assistant Manager will report directly to the QAP Manager.  The position will serve as a liaison for all corporate training, support regional business planning activities and work closely with Corporate Compliance, thereby enhancing communications, identifying growth opportunities, and strengthening the overall regional / corporate relationship. 

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage regulatory compliance and planning activities to respond to increased regulatory compliance requirements on lending and servicing of loans
  • Manage all regional training to assure training and policies are adhered
  • Serve as a liaison for all corporate training activities and as a liaison to the AHFC Compliance Manager
  • Collaborate on regional business planning
  • This position directly reports to the QAP Manager
  • Adhere to appropriate Compliance policies and procedures

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Management, or related field
  • Masters or MBA is a plus
  • 5 years of lending experience is required
  • 2 years of supervisory experience required
  • Experience specifically in customer service and/or compliance related positions is desired, multiple domain experience preferred 
  • Strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with others at all levels across the organization
  • Solid Organization and planning skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • The position works in an office environment with open cubicle seating
  • May work remotely as business needs dictate
  • Occasional local or overnight travel may be required
