Job Purpose

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Leader - MarTech Manager to lead our development and integration teams in the Design, Delivery, and LiveOps of MarTech solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/Software Development including Agile Project and Program Management in a complex environment, with hands-on experience in managing multiple IT teams and projects simultaneously.
  • You will be responsible for defining and implementing the roadmap for our marketing capabilities and systems. Your goal will be to provide seamless, sustainable, and innovative solutions that exceed expectations and drive trust and satisfaction with the Honda and Acura brands. You will partner with our business and marketing teams, and ensure the successful implementation of technology solutions to enhance our marketing capabilities and understanding of our customers. You will also lead improvement initiatives in our web tracking and communication platforms to personalize Honda’s customer touchpoints and experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the MarTech teams responsible for designing, delivering, and live operating MarTech solutions across various platforms including CRM systems, Personalization Engines, Voice of Customer (VoC) Platforms, Chatbots, Virtual Assistants, Analytical and Attribution Tools, and Loyalty Systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-teams to ensure alignment to achieve common goals and successful project execution.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to team leads and project managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver maximum value to the organization.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers, ensuring adherence to SLAs and contractual agreements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in MarTech, providing recommendations and insights for future initiatives.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsibilities include roadmap, services reliability/efficiency, and management of the customer digital experience while navigating and researching Honda products 30 · Responsible for all projects and enhancements of the customer journey (budget, timeline, staffing, QA, delivery..etc)
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationship with business users and digital partners
  • Coach and provide oversight as needed to support attainment of quality and performance metrics 
  • Identify, analyse, and prioritize new features and issues 
  • Create a positive and focused team environment by promoting empowerment and good judgment, and communicating with transparency

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Education: A Bachelors degree in Information Systems / IT / Computer Sciences / Business Administration or equivalent working experience.

Minimum work experience:

  • 10 or more years of experience in IT Software Development including hands on Agile Project/Program Management experience in a complex environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously, preferably in the MarTech domain.
  • Strong understanding of MarTech platforms and solutions including CRM systems, Personalization Engines, CDPs, VoC Platforms, Chatbots, Analytical and Attribution Tools, and Loyalty Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving organizational objectives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party service providers.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision making

Other desirables:

  • Experience delivering Customer Facing Enterprise Digital programs involving numerous external vendors and internal teams is a plus.
  • Automotive industry background, business acumen & understanding of OEM- Dealer eco-system is a plus
  • Scaled Agile (SAFe) practitioner with experience in enterprise agile transformations is a plus.
