Job Purpose

The Consumer Applications Unit is responsible to manage and support AHM websites and digital assets that act as digital showrooms and vehicle information source for online customers to research and learn about the various product lines that Honda offers and supports. 
This position is the business analyst role that acts as the subject matter expert for customer experience across all Consumer Applications brands and products during the customer’s online journey while researching products and services, this position requires excellent business acumen and communication skills to work with business users and stakeholders to capture and document requirements, create and manage scope, and provide support to technical team(s) and work closely with architect.  
 

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the analysis of the client requirements: identification, definition and organization related to client functional requirements
  • Create detailed requirement specifications
  • Provide support for the project team, working closely with the architect, interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors
  • Ensure the quality of the project by developing test scenarios and participating in the tests phase
  • Analyse external and internal data understand the competitive landscape, the customer behavior pattern, the website conversion funnel and provide actionable insights to support sales and customer growth
     

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BA/BS or master’s degree in marketing, management information systems, computer science, business, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience as an Analyst or equivalent position required.
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking ability, a strong knowledge of Excel, pivot tables, charting and databases. Participate in business meetings and walkthroughs to analyze problems giving business user support. 
  • Advanced ability to research, analyze impact, and suggest solutions for complex problems. 
  • Advanced ability to develop and update technical design specifications, diagrams, flowcharts, architecture documents, and deployment plan. 
  • Working knowledge of software engineering, software development, solution architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms. 
  • Advanced ability to assess corporate impacts of changes and recommend strategies to senior management. 
  • Collaborate on data and reporting requirements to guide development of data environment that enables analytics and reporting of digital customer journey, engagement and value
  • Ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis.
  • Has the ability to synthesize insights from different reports, by performing deep dives in customer behaviors
  • Provide insight into business and industry trends and identify opportunity/risks
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it. 
  • Excellent analytical, and creative problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. 
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
