Job Purpose

The Data Analytics & BI Sr. Specialist is responsible for planning, coordination, reporting and follow up related to ASX Quality Market Analytics projects. This position requires the interaction with many departments inside and outside of AHM to guarantee compliance with all government and non-government agencies. Oversee the compliance of SOX, TREAD and other AHM systems for the Aftersales Experience. Position is located at SCM in the Aftersales Experience Division.

Key Accountabilities

  • Independently serves ASX Quality Dept. to ensure to smooth operations for associates to ensure efficient workflow through maintaining the overall office condition:
    • Coordinating security requests/access (i.e. – Badges, uniforms, pool car)
    • Coordination of associate and department equipment (computers, vehicles, tools, supplies, etc.) - Inventory, servicing, ordering, etc.
    • Confidentiality/Safety compliance audits
    • Shipping/Receiving for Quality Monitoring/Analysis teams
  • Warehouse Project coordinator including: factory communication, distribution communication, location reports, MOD holds coordination with Logistics, monitoring and reporting of progress, transfer of supplies.
  • Communicate and promote market quality information to the appropriate entities including R&D, Factories, Regional offices, and Honda Motor Service to speed resolution of quality issues to promote customer satisfaction and reduce warranty expense.
  • Support market quality investigations as part of analysis team daily meetings. Collaborate with theme leader & provide support to identify root cause / countermeasure of market issues.
  • Create and manage schedule of assigned task and projects to ensure deadlines are met, coordinate resource needs with supervisor. Consistently communicate activity status and participate in unit/department meetings, discussions, and events.
  • Collaborate with other market analysis members to publish monthly quality report that illustrates the condition of AHM PSP quality.
  • Support campaign “Service Action Meetings” (SAM) by confirming 100% compliance for NHTSA, CPSC, USCG items related to campaigns.
  • Process cost-center reimbursement / chargeback / IBR / IDR / Invoicing / shipping request
  • Contribute to ongoing production of: PRO incident reports, Campaign completion / Trend, Quality Information Communications (QIC) Reports, H-TI / QIS Maintenance via GIQ system, Accessory warranty, Goodwill, FQS for sales, production and warranty data pulls, Tread and SOX compliance reports.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields, or 7 years’ experience with project management
  • 5 Years previous experience, preferably in the Powersports or mobility field
  • Competent in written and oral communication
  • Previous experience with problem solving methods
  • Competent in creating a plan and schedule
  • Competent analytical, problem solving, judgement, decision-making and prioritization
  • Competent time management skills
  • Must be able to possess a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities
