Job Purpose

Provides support to the global sales team and dealer network by undertaking a broad and diverse set of initiatives.  Primary duties include the generation of aircraft mission cost-of-operation analysis and development and maintenance of technical marketing collateral, presentations, and competitive assessments.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Provides HondaJet mission analysis, cost of operation and competitive analysis information to prospective clients and customers.
  2. Researches and provides key market & customer intelligence to internal sales team and dealer network utilizing various online databases such as JetNet, Wing-X, WealthEngine, etc.
  3. Gathers and assembles competitive intelligence and specifications.
  4. Identifies gaps in technical sales and marketing collateral to best position the HondaJet in the marketplace.
  5. Develops and maintains HondaJet sales presentations.
  6. Assists in the development and maintenance of technical sales and marketing collateral library, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
  7. Collaborates with other internal departments to fulfill technical requests for information.
  8. Represents Honda Aircraft Company at trade shows and events.
  9. Assists team members on other activities as required.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  1. Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Aeronautical Science, Aviation Management, Business Administration with a focus on Aviation/Aerospace or other directly related technical degree.
  2. 1-5 years of experience within the aviation/aerospace industry (preferably in Engineering, Sales, Sales Engineering and/or Technical Marketing).

Working Conditions

  1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
  2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
  4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
  6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
  7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
  8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided “reach assistance technology” or “movement assist technology” (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly’s, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
