Job Purpose
The Powersports Export Sales Department is responsible for the sales, production coordination for products manufactured by American Honda South Carolina Manufacturing and North Carolina Manufacturing to all countries outside the United States. The products include Honda All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) and Multi-purpose Utility Vehicles (MUV). The sales representatives are the direct contact for specified countries to generate sales orders, forecasts, and communicate concerns that could affect our ability to continue sales in each country. The sales representative also assists the Manager in working with HRA-O and AHM Product Planning to ensure the necessary models are available for export.
Key Accountabilities
- 100% Achievement of WS Target (All countries combined)
- Send, collect, & review order worksheets - update internal documents w/ Distributor orders pre-confirmations - update & send order worksheet confirmations - create & maintain Quote Sheets - PDF, send, collect, & file signed Sales Contracts
- Minimum contact w/ assigned distributors 2 times per month to maintain relationship, sensing, order submission, Niguri submission
- Completion of special projects as assigned
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- BA/BS Degree in Business
- Or equivalent work experience in the Powersports industry
- Strong customer relations/strategic business planning skills, knowledge of Powersports products that are produced at American Honda South Carolina Manufacturing/North Carolina Manufacturing, and proficient technical skills
- Strong customer relations and strategic business planning skills
- Proficient in the use of analysis, action planning and the PDCA process
- Knowledge of Powersports Products, primarily with ATV’s and Side-by-Sides
